Alysia Raycraft is a versatile Costume Designer for film, television, commercials and theatre. Recent projects include and THE LEISURE CLASS, written and directed by Jason Mann and produced by Adaptive Media HBO for PROJECT GREENLIGHT, THE INVITATION, which was an official selection at the Telluride Horror Show in 2015, and the music video for “Celebrate” by Ingrid Michaelson, directed by Andrew Elvis Mille.
Theatre work includes the 2017’s WINK directed by Ron Beverly. Earlier in her career she was a part of the puppet maintenance team for the original Broadway production of THE LION KING, NY, and prior to that was the Wardrobe Supervisor for BLUE MAN GROUP, NY.
She holds an MFA in Costume Design from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts as well as an Artist in Residency in Costume Design with The New York City Ballet. Her first years in New York City city she received a graduate Textile Surface Design degree from The Fashion Institute of Technology with additional studies in Illustration and Fashion Design while working as a Textile Designer. Her undergraduate work was in Painting and Sculpture at the University of Texas at Austin with additional study at the UTA Dept. of Art and Art History program in Italy.
