Nadya Gurevich has been working as a production designer, set decorator and art director for film, print, advertising, web and television for the past 8 years.
Born in Moscow, Russia to a well-known screenwriter father and a film critic mother, Nadya grew up on film sets often spending summers on location. Her family relocated to the United States in 1991, where she attended New York University majoring in art history. She also has a master’s degree in interior design from Parsons School of Design. After working as an interior designer, Nadya decided to follow her family footsteps and transitioned into working in film applying her diverse background to her set designs.
Her work on feature and short films which include such titles as “Price Check”, “The Vicious Kind”, “Stones in the Sun”, “Adventures of Power” and “Please Give” has been seen in festivals around the world including Sundance Film Festival, Tribecca Film Festival, Hamptons International Film Festival and Cannes International Film Festival as well as being shown in limited run in movie theaters around the country.
She has also had her work shown on MTV, Oxygen Network, A&E Networks, Comedy Central Network and College Humor.com
Nadya currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.
