Paul Lovelace is a versatile editor, producer and director who has worked on a diverse slate of film, television and commercial projects. Most recently, Paul edited and co-produced the 2015 acclaimed feature documentary IRIS, directed by the late Albert Maysles. IRIS is currently being distributed by Magnolia Pictures and will be released worldwide. Paul directed, produced and co-edited the 2012 award winning RADIO UNNAMEABLE (distributed by Kino Lorber and aired on PBS) about free form radio pioneer Bob Fass and directed, produced and co-edited the 2006 THE HOLY MODAL ROUNDERS… BOUND TO LOSE about the Greenwich Village psychedelic folk duo. Also in 2006, Paul wrote, produced, and edited the PBS documentary AMERICAN ROOTS MUSIC: CHICAGO. Paul has made several widely seen short films including the ESPN Nine for IX documentary PLAY A ROUND WITH ME about controversial golfer Jan Stephenson. Paul’s television work includes series for MTV, Travel Channel, HGTV and PBS.
